IFRS16 No Account Assignment value in Object tab and Valuation Parameters tab

Hi Guru,

The system is in EA-FIN 617/12. RE_GEN_CI_1 & RE_GEN_CI_2 are enabled.

When created contract in RECN using J4 Contract Object, there is no value in Account Assignment field for selection.

Don't see any related configuration spot under the configuration tree of RE-FX.

Which part is being missed?

Hi,

Allow Cost Center as well as Object Type in following config node:

Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) → Contract → Objects → Permitted Object Types per Contract Type

Then you will see the Cost Center in Account Assignment.

Sorry that it wasn't cleared enough. There is no account assignment value to select in J4 Contract Object.

J4 Contract Object is assigned in the said config node.

I am experiencing the same issue with the dropdown on the Account Assignment field for the Contract Object J4. I was just wondering if you resolved your issue and if you could let me know how you got the dropdown to work.

Pls check, if Cost Center is created for that Company Code or not.

The Cost Center was created. And looks like the Account Assignment field take a string of 3 characters only.

Hi Hang,

You don't need to add Cost Center as an Object like J4.

In J4, against Account Assignment, assign the Cost Center. When you give that, you will see the same Cost Center in Valuation Tab as well.

SAP doesn't allow to keep Account Assignment as blank, so you will have to assign some CO Object against J4 Object.

There is no value for selection in Account Assignment under J4.

Tried to manually key in a cost center to Account Assignment under J4, but message REBD007 is returned.

Object type XXXXXX does not exist, or is not permitted

not sure what is missing piece here.

Hi Hang,

Like you have added the J4 object in this node, add the KS (Cost Center) as well, to get in Account Assignment Dropdown.

You can add WBS, Internal Order, Rental Object etc. as the Account Assignment option in dropdown, all has to be given in Configuration, like first screen shot.

Hi Hitesh,

The intention is to supply Account Assignment in J4 Contract Object.

With your advice, a KS Object is added to the Object tab, and cost center can be added in this KS object. But this is not the intention.

Moreover, there is still no value in the field of Account Assignment in Valuation Parameters tab.
