Profit Center Derivation in Sales Documents > Substitution Type: Substitute with field/function cannot be used
I can only use Substitute with Content
â—‹What I want to do
I want the profit center of the details at the time of order to be "Sales office code + item profit center"
Please let me know the following:
1. Can it be used depending on how it's used?
2. How to use it
3. Is it scheduled to be released in the future?
Thank you in advance.
Request clarification before answering.
I have solved this problem.
My understanding was wrong from the start.
X: Assign the item selected in the field/function to the profit center
â—‹: Assign the profit center in the profit center master corresponding to the item selected in the field/function
Example: Profit center ⇒ Profit center_Sales office
Profit center: 1111
Sales office: AAAA
Profit center master: 1111_AAAA
When linking items in the field/function ⇒ Profit center + _ + Sales office
Profit center will contain 1111_AAAA.
When linking items in the field/function ⇒ Profit center + Sales office
No assignment will be made to the profit center.
Thank you to everyone who answered my question.

Hello,
Currently, the ‘Substitute with field/function’ option cannot Sales - Profit Center Determination be used directly for profit center derivation in sales documents. The available substitution method is ‘Substitute with Constant’. You want to derive the profit center using a combination of ‘Sales office code + item profit center’.
Can it be used depending on how it’s used?
Best regards,
Dequan Xu
