HR Trigger BRF+ to copy role from old position to new position when an employee is transferred

Hi,

I have scenario where employee gets transferred from one position to another and in turn need to copy roles from old position to new position manually.

I would like to build a BRF+ for this HR trigger action in order that roles from old position gets copied to new position for that employee.

Hi Mukesh,

GRC HR trigger works for certain actions when there is change in user level at HR system such as New Hire, Termination and Change (includes new positions addition or remove position from user) where as for creation of new position or changes in existing position will not be captured in HR trigger process.

Also, Access control is not maintaining the role based on position in BRM which might give you more background why one position's role changes not invokes HR Triggers.

I agree that you are trying to build a BRF+ rule for role assignments from one position to other, but in theory the roles assigned to the position will be static and the users assigned to the position will change(that's how position based security is built).

How about if the employee is transferred to new position and should have same set of roles?
