How to upgrade NW7.5 to sp 01

Hi.

I am new to SAP products.

I want to upgrade NW7.5 to SP01, so i tried to use Software Upgrade Manager.

But, in Define Targer step,there is an err massage"Some of the archives defined in the stack configration file were not found in the download directry.".

I downloaded SP01".xml file" from Maintenance Planner and dont move this SP01 to any directly.

If I can upgrade NW7.5 without SUM, I want to know the way.

Please give me some advises.

you would like to patch your NW 7.5 from SP00 to SP01, or you would like to upgrade your system (<NW 7.5) to NW 7.5 SP01?

For the patch from 00 to 01 you can generate a stack in Maintenance Planner, download the files and use transaction SPAM to patch the system.
If you would like to use SUM you can also do this, but in this case you have to download the generated stackfile, too.

If you would like to upgrade to system from a source lower than 7.5 to Netweaver 7.5 SP01 then please calculate a stack in Maintenance Planner. Afterwards you use SUM, the stackfile, the DVDs and the downloaded content to upgrade the system.
