how to understand the derivation rule logic in KEDR

Hi sap friends,

Currently we are use ECC version. we have a request to delete the derivation rule in KEDR. when there is any postings in FI to revenue GL 23xxxx then for the COPA postings it will post to another revenue GL 22xxxx (not 23xxxx) because of the derivation rule applied. before deleting the derivation rule i want to understand the logic behind the rule.

it is created as clear derivation type

this rules applies to SD postings also ? because SD postings still goes to these revenue GLs.

please help me to understand the logic for the derivation rule.
