How to turn on Consolidation in my CAL BW 7.5 instance

Hi,

I have a CAL (Cloud application Lib) BW 7.5 instance. I am trying to access via BPC Web but I could not yet...

I have the following installed. Can anyone please guide me if I need a newer SP level or if this is enough to launch Consolidation on this

When I go to RSA1, I can see Environment shell etc. without Consolidation model (It has only Planning and Rates as default) Is it because it needs higher SP to have Cons model as default in Envi shell ?

Hi Andy,

Thanks for the link. I am thinking because we are on BW 7.5 SP01, we could not do any consolidation in Embedded (can't activate). I think I will need to wait until SP02 to be made available on CAL on HANA (May 16 they released one version on ASE though

did  you completed all the post installation steps in the installation guide?

in the installation guide section, make sure you open the BW7.5 version one, from page 12.

also check SM30 enter into table maintenance – RSPLS_HDB_ACT make sure both are ticked.

Hi Andy,

I did go through the Note.

I did the post installation checks, yes the SM30 table maintenance is as per the guide.

If you notice the below excerpt from the Note, it says BW 7.5 Sp02 as pre-requisite. Our current CAL offering is on SP01, may be due to that reason we are not able to enable (even though we do all the relevant config etc.)

We are trying to see if we can add the service pack to the current system.
