How to set 2 printers for same legal unit in SAP GTS,default data,printer determination?

Hi,

I need to set up 2 different printers with the same legal unit for a message type, in SAP GTS customs declaration.

There is a option to enter default printer set up in customs management, printer determination, but I cannot add 2 different printers with same Legal Unit.

I cant use User ID as an option, as the outputs will be automatically defaulted.

In this case how to configure 2 different printers with same Legal Unit- in the node-" determine output device for foreign trade documents"

Kindly suggest.

I want to add ware house as an additional option in the selection parameter, can that work out?

Hi Shilpa,

Check if you want to try this, it allows multiple printers with the same legal unit. It's the print profile:

The config menu is Customs Management -->Communication Processes-->Define Print Profiles for Foreign Trade Documents.

The profiles need to be assigned with the outputs and a printer name under Print Profile data once you have the profile definitions configured. The legal units need to be tagged with a letter at the end to differentiate as profile definitions.

What do you mean - that the message should print simultaneously to two printers?  If not, then what are you trying to achieve?

Generally it will be easiest to replicate the Message Type, and send each message to a different printer.

It should not print simultaneously.

It will print based on Legal Unit.

2 printer names were shared by business. one is for warehouse and another printer is for plant.

The ware house is attached to the same plant.

So not sure how to differentiate between warehouse printer and plant printer in GTS system --Customs Management>>>Master Data>>>Configure Printer Determination, to set up default printer based on LU.
