Hello how can an analytical application, which was created via custom analytical query and the App View-Browser, be renamed? It doesn't show the given description but the technical name of the query. How can the highlighted name be changed?
Thanks and best regards

Hi,
I had the same problem. Unfortunately there is no button with "Rename" (somehow really annoying. Should be implemented).
Here are my notes on how I managed the renaming.

Access the Custom Analytical Query in the Query Browser:

    • Navigate to the SAP Fiori Launchpad.
    • Open the "Custom Analytical Queries" app.
    • Locate the query you want to rename. Note the technical name of the query.

Edit the Query Description:

    • Select the query and choose the "Edit" option.
    • In the editing mode, you can change the description of the query. This description is what should appear in the App View Browser.
    • Save your changes.

Update the Tile in the Fiori Launchpad:

    • If the query is exposed as a tile on the SAP Fiori Launchpad, you may need to update the tile's title and subtitle.
    • Open the "Launchpad Designer."
    • Locate the tile corresponding to your custom analytical query.
    • Edit the tile’s properties, including the title and subtitle, to reflect the desired name.
    • Save your changes and ensure they are transported to the correct environment if necessary.

Clear Cache and Refresh:

    • Sometimes changes may not be visible immediately due to caching. Clear the browser cache and refresh the SAP Fiori Launchpad.

Verify in the App View Browser:

    • Return to the SAP Fiori Launchpad and open the "View Browser" app.
    • Search for your query and verify that the updated description is displayed instead of the technical name.

I hope this helps you.

Greetings

Dom

Thanks for your answer, but unfortunately that doesn't help. The description is maintained in the app Custom analytical queries but is not shown in the application then. I even re-created the query and the app but its not shown either.
