How to Post Non Group Level Currency Translated data at Group Level in BPC 11.1 standard

Hi Team,

We are implementing Legal Consolidation on BPC 11.1 standard which sits on B4HANA 2.0.

As a standard behavior, when we run currency translation in BPC standard over Local Currency Non Group Data, we get Currency Converted data at Group Level. The Consolidation engine then picks up this Currency Converted data at group level and posts the elimination entries at group level.

In our case, we are getting Currency Translated data directly from S4. It means we are not performing any currency translation in BPC. When we get the Currency Translated data in BPC from S4, it is at Non Group Level.

Now when we run Consolidation, the consolidation engine is not getting Currency Translated data at group level, which is causing issue in running the whole consolidation process. We have multiple sub groups under the parent group where we perform consolidation.

What do we do in this case. How to get the currency Translated data at Group level before Consolidation runs. Kindly suggest.

Regards,
SHUBHAM

Have you tried the so called "integration" business rule?

"When we get the Currency Translated data in BPC from S4, it is at Non Group Level." If you want to use currency translated figures from S4 you have to copy the mentioned figures to required groups. Can be done with script logic.

Hi Vadim,

I am on same page. We are also thinking to do a copy via Script logic. But I am thinking of approach to make the copy dynamic given that we have subgroups like below:

Should we do copy based on some property in Entity dimension, or just make it manual copy in Script logic. I am thinking to make copy dynamic to support any changes in Ownership structure .

For sure you can use property or properties for target Group ID. Very easy!
