How to open previous posting period in SAP S/4 HANA system

Hello SAP Community,

I'm encountering an issue to open the previous posting period in SAP S/4 HANA system. I've tried using transaction codes MMRV, MMPI and OMSY as recommended, but I haven't been able to find a solution.

Can anyone provide guidance or suggest alternative methods for changing the previous posting period? Your expertise and insights would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @rish08 

The checkbox for previous posting period must be maintained in MMRV for your company code. Additionally the period in financials should also open in OB52  for the posting periods assigned to your company code

Hi Sanil, I've already maintained the transaction MMRV to address our posting period requirements, and OB52 is properly defined for the financial period. However, it appears that we have inadvertently configured the system to allow postings into the future in the Maintain Company Code for Material Management. Could you provide guidance on rectifying this misconfiguration?
