We are currently implementing BPC on top of our BW system. Which is the best way to manage BPC security? Is it through BPC web console or through the backend ABAP system as per the link
We have a CUA in our landscape and would like to manage it from the backend ABAP system.
What are the pros & cons and the best practise?

Hi,
As far I know doing it standard way is better option. One additional point is that CUA with BPC 10.0 will have more issues. Even if you do this custom development in case of any problem SAP will not provide support.
So its better to go with best practice. ( If best practice does not meet requirement, go for custom on your own risk)

Hi Shrikant,
Thanks for the reply. Standard way means using the bpc web console? If it's through bpc web console which user will have access to add users, assign profiles/teams?
Which users should be assigned the below roles?
Task Profile - PrimaryAdmin, SecondaryAdmin & SystemAdmin
Data Access Profile - AdminMbrAccPrf
Is it the Basis who should have these roles?
Hi,
All the security management in BPC should be controlled by BPC admin person, it is not a BASIS task. The best would be sit down with your authorization team and come up with the solution to use CUA or not.
For BPC security it will be best for you to speak to your BPC consultant, and decide who gets what tasks and which DAP.
