How to… Log Changes in Plan Data when using the SAP BW Planning Applications Kit - BPC S4HANA

Hi experts,

we are running BPC on S4HANA and we need to log the changes done in AO frontend into the separate table, since we cannot have the Audtittrail switched on for the Infocube.

So, we have implemented this https://www.sap.com/documents/2015/07/84507c8d-597c-0010-82c7-eda71af511fa.html .

Basically it is working, but it is saving only SYSTEM fields and FISCPER into the logging table. Other characteristics and key figures are not saved into to log.

So, more details,

as the manual is for embedded version, it might be that since we are running on S4HANA and infoobjects are shared with ERP that problem lays somewhere there.

it seems that InfoObjects starting with "/B631/*" and "/BIC/*" are not filled. [marked red]

BUT, InfoObjects strating with "BI0/*" are filled with logging data. [marked green]

It was an FIELDNAME issue, must be fixed in class.
