How to install SAP Note on AWS istance

Hi,

i have a AWS istance solution SAP BPC11 - BW/4HANA, i created an excel input schedule by Analysis for Office 2.6 but the send return an error, the solution is install 2 SAP note but when i try to download the note by Tcode SNOTE the system return me a connection error:

Error in remote connection to destination SAPOSS: Error when opening an RFC connection (LB: Hostname or service of the message server unknown DEST =SA

Message no. SB331

Diagnosis

An error occurred during RFC communication with a remote system. SAPOSS was used as a destination (maintain destinations in transaction SM59). The message returned by the RFC interface is:

Error when opening an RFC connection (LB: Hostname or service of the message server unknown DEST =SA

System Response

No data was transmitted from or to the remote system.

Procedure

Notify the system adminstration.

Could you please help me?

Hi,

This is a very late reply but if you check the dev_rout trace file on your saprouter, you will probably find your certificate has expired.

Hello,

It is a late reply but maybe it helps out others who are facing the same issue.

The answer of your questions is about the zone of your SAP Router - if you saprouter cannot access to your SAP instance on AWS then you are probably having the issue.

To overcome, either you can check the connection between your router and SAP instance on AWS. or you can simply install a saprouter at AWS side. Then the life will be much easier for you.

Most probably the connection to the SAP Support Portal is not established - there is no saprouter in the landscape or it is not configured properly.

As a workaround you can import the SAP Note manually. Check out this link (the screens are a bit outdated, but it covers all steps):
