How to derive cost center for a settlement rule in funds management with more than one rule

Dear FM expert team, I'm implementing a FM module in a customer, that need to read the settlement rule for a Internal Order and derive the funds center from ther. My problem here is because in this rule can be more than one line split by percentage. Example:

Internal Order #XPTO

Owner cost center in header internal order CCT01 (I don't want read this information)

Setllement rule

Cost center CCT02 - 10%

Cost center CCT03 - 20%

Projetc PWD004 - 30%

Order PM001 - 40%

The customer wants to derive the funds center from each one line from setllement rule, reading his respective cost center and concidering the percent indicate in each line, in the moment the internal order is posting, not when be settleded.

So in my opinion, it will be generate a diferente FM document for each line, respecting the amout alocate regading the percent for each line in the settlement rule, at the moment the Internal order it will be posted.

Anybody have this experience before? And what the solution applicable.

Kind regards

Sabrina.

Hi,

You got yourself some tricky client 🙂

Bottom line: of course, it's impossible, without a development. You can obviously read the settlement rule (everything could be done with a user-exit in derivation strategy), but FM document cannot be 'split' based on this information. FM document is created with 1-to-1 relationship to the item of original document, or in case of multiple account assignment, is split accordingly as well. So, when you make a posting on this internal order, it will be just one item, and so will be the FM document behind it.

Regards,

Eli
