how to create multiple GL accounts using template for Local Chart Of Account in SAP Public Cloud

I want to create about 100 new GL Accounts in Local Chart of Account YBCZ.

We are using SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud 2502.

Could you please suggest how to create multiple GLs using template?

Hello Jeremy,

thank you for quick response and the help related video. I have started creating new GL by copying existing GL Account, BUT I have one observation for GL descriptions in other languages.

If I copy existing GL and add description, say in English and created new GL Account, then description in other languages does not change accordingly. It displays copied (source) GL description in other languages. Is there possibility that automatic conversion of GL description from English to other languages ?

Hello dear user,

And thank you for asking your question in the SAP Community blog.

Unfortunately, there is no way to mass create G/L accounts in the S4 hana cloud public version.

The only functionality that SAP offers is in the SSCUI 150001 (Manage G/L Account Master Data) where you can only create G/L account by copy on an existing one and it has to be a manual action I'm afraid.
