How to create a calculation routine and discount condition in VOFM?

Hi, I need to create a calculation routine then be assigned to the new discount condition ZDC7. Calculation will be as follows: condition value of ZNE2 - condition value of ZR00. This will result either to a negative value or zero (0) given that ZNE2<=ZR00.

Is this the way to creation a condition type? Not sure where to put the calculation.

Please share one example with some dummy values and then, explain which condition type should calculate from where. I feel, this can be addressed with the pricing configuration itself

You can create the calculation routine in transaction VOFM via menu option: Formulas -> Condition value

You then assign the routine number to the condition type in the price procedure (V/08) - you do not assign it to the condition type itself (V/06).
