How to control pre-defined asset class

Hello.

I would like to know about pre-defined standard asset class.

How can I control that users cannot use standard asset classes?

I understand that it is not possible to change the pre-defined standard asset class.

I don't want users to use the standard asset classes, any suggestions?

Thank you very much for your question. Here's the expert's reply:

The standard asset classes must not be changed or deleted.

In the "Manage Substitution and Validation Rules – For Asset Master Data" app (Fiori ID F6968), you can create a validation that enables such checks. The customer could define rules in which an error message is triggered whenever a user wants to create fixed assets in certain asset classes.

because of some mistakes in the test system, we had to create new account determination and new asset class and made the necessary changes. If we manage the substitutions as you said, will the migration of fixed assets postings use the new account determination?
