How to connect SAP DM to ECC FI

Hello marc.kuipers,

Is there any manual explaining how to connect SAP DM to ECC as datasource in order to get financial information? I would like to know if using third applications (FIM example) is recommended or mandatory.

Hi Daniel,

DM can connect to various systems, via data-sources.

If you look in the client, you can see all available systems. For ECC, i believe the best option is to use ERP Server

Note: DM has no connectivity with FIM, i.e. in FIM you can never set DM as a target data-source
