how to check business catalog to be assigned For custom in app application in sap s4hana cloud?

Hello SAP,

We have developed a custom in-app application based on custom CDS views and analytical querying using standard views (I_MfgOrderDocdGoodsMovement and I_FixedAsset). We need to assign it to a particular user. How can we determine the suitable Business Catalog to assign to the custom application for the specific user to access it?

Could you please explain and assist us with our query?

Dear Ruchi,

You need to assign one or more Business Catalogs to the Custom Catalog Extension related to the Application.

You can choose any Business Catalog that you want. It can either be a catalog related to Extensibility/Custom Analytical Queries or a catalog related to the datasources that you're using.
