How to add docusign date and other fields to document template

May I know how to add docusign date in document template? In the helper page, I can only find name, company and position, https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_CPQ/f80fbcd4f1c74232839c30ce26886f07/369c784050a041619f7bcbb34089cbe8....

If we want to add some text boxes for user to input additional information when doing docusign, how to add them to the template? Thanks.

Thank you for sharing the information. After studying the blog page and CPQ documentation, there seems to be two ways to use docusign in SAP CPQ:

1. When signature placeholder is not in the document template, customer can drag signature, date and other fields when signing.
2. A placeholder \signhere_1\ is added in the document template, and customer can only sign inside of the placeholder.

Is this understanding correct?

For our environment, we are using the 2nd way, and customer cannot include the fields by themselves.

So we need to add some tags in the template for docusign date and other fields. For now, I can only find following 3 tags in the documentation:

• \signer_{r}_name\ - Inserts name of the signer
• \signer_{r}_company\ - Inserts company of the signer
• \signer_{r}_position\ - Inserts position of the signer

Any idea for docusign date and others?

Date created field is available and other fields needs to configured inside the Docusign settings to get that in document while user selects.
