How to add a new column in standard report FTRTLC00

Greetings of the day SAP Experts!

I have met with a requirement to include a new column into the standard report output of FTRTLC00. I couldn't find anything regarding this in this forum, and I have searched inside the report itself to find any BTE etc. But I couldn't find anything.

Maybe I am missing something here. So, if you know how to enhance the existing report to include a new column then please guide me.

As the structure TLCS_WRK of the report can be enhanced, why don't you create and append structure with your column. (The field catalog is automatically update)

You could use implicit enhancements at start/end of form data_read to add your fields in the read data before display.

Right! We already have this solution thought out. But do not want to go this way hastily. We are still searching for any other ways to achieve this without append structure + implicit enhancement.

On most reports, SAP does not offer any options to enhance them. The most appropriate solution is to use an append structure and enhancement points. The least correct solution is to clone the report, because of upgrades of standard.

Alas, this transaction does not contain any entry points to enrich it 😞

Hi,

Instead of adding new column in to SAP standard report, clone the standard and create the custom report.

Check Implicit Enhancement points and add the custom logic.

Lingaiah, thanks for commenting. Yes I agree that's a solution. But that is our Plan B. In the meantime we are searching for whether in any way it is possible for us to enhance the report, except for appending a structure to the actual output table structure and using implicit enhancement on the standard report to include the field.
