How Recurring Rate is calculated in CC and BITs created in CI for this recurring usage.

I have created a charge plan with Usage charge(master) and recurring charge(dependent). In the charge plan the recurring charge depends on the usage charge. Which means when a usage rate is calculated it should calculate the recurring rate also.

I am able to generate the BITs for the usage but not for the recurring?

If you don't have any recurring fee in the master charge, the recurring fee of the dependent charge will not be computed.

The fees of a dependent charge are only computed when the similar fee (same kind of fee) are computed in the master charge.

Do you mean that i can live with only one charge and inside price plan i can have usage rate and recurring rate.

But in such a case how still when i request for BITs i get only for usage not for the recurring.

Or I can create two charge one for the usage rate and one for the recurring rate and assign them to a charge plan.

Yes Siva Prasad Jena, you can have a recurring fee and an usage fee in the same charge. In this case, you will have a BIT for the usage fee and a BIT for the recurring fee. Keep in mind that it will be the same BIT class.

You can have 2 separate charge in your charge plan. One for the usage and one for the recurring (without dependency). In this case you can use different BIT classes (one per charge).
