In CPQ Quote 1.0, we notice there are four types of decimals regarding the item fields of the type either number or currency:
- Default Display
- Default Decimal
- Market Display
- Market Decimal
But in the admin Rounding Setup, the settings seem only to take effective on default display and default decimal:
- Number of Decimals in Calculations => Default Decimal
- Number of Decimals when Rounding => Default Display
In Market related admin settings, we don't see anything related to the decimal. Besides, we also notice that all the values of total types in Market Decimal are NOT modifiable via custom script, while the values in Default Decimal can be modified.
However, the values displayed in the SubTotal and Total sections on the quotation page by standard UI are in Market Display rather than Default Display.
Isn't it a bit confusing that the standard UI displays the values of subtotal and total amount in market decimal, while it cannot be configured or modified by custom scripts?
