How do you manage Periodic and YTD data with SAP BPC Embedded Consolidation?

Hello,

I am setting up a consolidation model with BPC Embedded (BW 740 SP16)

I understand that data are stored as Periodic. How can users input data in YTD as Conso model are in Periodic and how can they input data in YTD with Bex queries?
