how do i search for JDE CUSTOMER SKU without setting up a manual link in SAP

our customers sends edi orders into SAP and their SKUS's come across in the system.

I want to find a way to search for the item using their codes.

is this possible without creating a manual set up via VB11 AND J3A)?
