We are trying to identify if there is a way to secure public folders and its sub folders by roles or users? Currently we see there is a "Manage Access" option but it is by each report or dashboard within a folder. We cannot secure the "folders". We saw SSM 10.0 having a "Group" option and be able to secure public folder. Is this option removed from SSM 10.1?
Request clarification before answering.
Al,
10.0 used a BusinessObjects style report management system but this was changed in 10.1 so that security is now at report/dashboard/briefing book level.
