How can I maintain the relationship between MATERIAL and SALES REPRESENTATIVE as it is having N:N relationship

Hi,

Currently we are working on NW BPC 10.1 Classic model.

we have three dimensions SALES REPRESENTATIVE,CUSTOMER and MATERIAL.

Now we have to create an input template as below

Page axis: SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Rows: CUSTOMER , MATERIAL, ACCOUNT

Column: TIME

Here there is a link between CUSTOMER and SALES REPRESENTATIVE as 1:N relationship. So, we can filter CUSTOMERS based on SALES REPRESENTATIVES with dimension override function.

But there is no link between MATERIAL and SALES REPRESENTATIVE to pull related materials as we have N:N relationship between these dimensions.

How can I maintain the relationship between MATERIAL and SALES REPRESENTATIVE as we have 400 materials in my dimension, we are unable to create the input form.

Regards,

Anitha

The only way is discussed here:

Not elegant, but there is no object in BPC to store many to many!

Hi Vadim,

Thanks for your reply..

suggested post will not help us because ours is Input form, if it is report I can use the option Remove empty and zero values.

For input form you can use 2 reports with shared row axis.

First report is used with "Remove empty and zero values" to select lines according to many to many. The second is used for data entry.
