Hierarchy Members not Loading in ParentH1 column

I implemented a simple, Account/Chart of Account concatenation while extracting Account Master data attributes and Hierarchy from BW. My Master data and text loads fine but had to specify each hierarchy node individually on DM package- Hierarchy tab in order to load all parent nodes instead of just selecting top node as we normally do.

When loading Hierarchy Master data, it completes without errors but nothing is populated in parenth1 column. I have searched the forum and sap notes and have looked at the famous HTG- How to load master data to no avail.

We are on BPC 10.1 Classic SP02.

Need your help if you have any idea.

Hi David,

firstly you need to load master data, during that load it should load all the hierarchy nodes as well.

then you load hierarchy which will populate parenth1 for you, depends on your mapping in the conversion file of course.

can you please take screen shots of the log file of your master data load and hierarchy data load?

Apologies for replying to an old thread.

I try to load master data, with the hierarchy selection and import text nodes. However I do not see any text nodes loading up. The hierarchies are active in BW

So after this step when i run hierarchy load, nothing gets loaded.

Hi Ed,

Does your Master Data Package show as SUCCESS? Have you tried opening the Transformation file in Excel and doing a Validate & Process on it to see what data or errors it shows? Or is the Master Data load working fine and it's only the Hierarchy load that's wrong? If so, have you tried the same Validate & Process on the Hierarchy Transformation file?
