Hi Gurus

I have successfuly loaded the master Data Text using the DMP. Also I have been able to successfully validate the Hierarchy Transformation file. But when I am running the package to load Hierarchies form Info Object I am getting the following error message :

In InfoObject the hierrachy is maintained with the name WBSH. I am unable to find the resolution for this. Waiting for your tips to resolve the issue.

Thanks in advance.

KMG

Please show your transformation and conversion files used for hierarchy load! Looks like you are missing something in conversion...

The following is the transformation file I have maintained for Hierarchy Load.

The following is the transformation file I have maintained for Text Load.

The difference is the number of records in both the files. Text Load shows 4465 records whereas Hierarchy Load shows 4466.

For hierarchy load conversion is required. Please read

Still having the same error. As said the number of records in Text Load (4465 records) and Hierarch Load (4466 records) is something causing me a problem. The actual thing is we have created a staging are for the WBS master data load from BW. This staging area is configured as per BPC requirements.

Can you show Set selection screen for hierarchy?

May be in external: WBS HIERARCHY?

Ups, now it's clear!

What member in BPC do you have that will be a root node for this hierarchy?

Before loading hierarchy you have to load all required members - including parent nodes. It means that you need to have a member equivalent to WBS HIERARCHY root member and use some conversion between BW and BPC member to load hierarchy. The error you have means that some members in BW have the parent member WBS HIERARCHY but unable to find this member in the BPC dimension...

Thanks Vadim. Once loaded successfully I shall close this issue.

Hi Vadim

I have asked BI Consultant to give the details of the hierarch he has maintained in BW. The following is the screenshot of it.

I have maintained the following mapping along with the Conversion file.

Sorry, but I have to repeat the same question again: WBS HIERARCHY - what member do you have in BPC for it? How do you import members? Do you use conversion?

And you need to use conversion for NODENAME, because WBS HIERARCHY is a bad ID for BPC (contain space)...

Hi Vadim,

As suggested by you. I have maintained WBSH as a member  in BPC and later maintained NODENAME Conversion file.

It loaded successfully and the hierarchy is maintained. Now the MD is automated through Process Chains.

Thanks once again for your patience to resolve the issue.

KMG
