Hello experts, we are writing to ask for your help regarding the task of eliminating the 2100 participations from the consolidation monitor. We have defined the companies, the consolidation method, and the first consolidation period 001.2022. We have entered the percentages in the technical account S0001, all at 100% except one at 80%. We made an entry on the account with the trigger for the period 001.2022, but we don't understand why sequence 041 is not being read (the logs show sequences 010, 011, 040, 050, 051, 054, 055). Does anyone have any ideas?

1. For Rule 041, check box "Percentage Complementary" is ticked. If ownership is 100%, then Rule 041, the factor is 0%.

2. By default if percentage is not specified in Further Settings of Settings tab, it will get the value from the selection on Percentage tab. If the selection is empty of the value of the selection not found, it will use default 100%.

3. Now comes to the question with regards to the 80%. You should be able to verify whether your ownership is maintained / calculated correctly per https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/90c07e91c7a64f328be3fd6b48955b13/79940df720e24c29b1569dda...

Hi HengyeZhu,

thank you for your help. In the settings tab, we haven't defined any percentage, but we are using Z-COI-PERCENTAGE in the Percentage tab. The selection is defined as in the image. MD92_0-1714641960942.png

We have uploaded the percentage using document type 39 (conso unit 7 is the holding).

the period of assignment and first consolidation are the same and it is 012.2021 (first consolidation at end of period).

I would really appreciate your help to solve the issue. Thank you

Hi,

In the delivered rules, the trigger data for rules 040 and 041 is the same. So if the rule 040 posts an elimination, it is likely that what is missing for the rule 041 is the percentage.

The rule 041 reads the percentage on group level (group shares), this means on posting level 30 (with the delivered document types 38 and 39). If you have reported the ownership share % on posting level 00 or 10, you must calculate the group shares by running the task "Calculate Group Shares %" in the consolidation monitor. Then the groups share % is posted on the statistical FS item and can be read by the rule 041.

Hope this helps!

Hi experts,

I have the same issue, when I run the task 2100 the system (S4 HANA 1909) doesn't post non controlling interest, however there are companies with a lower percentage than 100%  and with purchase method as consolidation method

These are the percentage selection, the upload percentages and the defined task,

Please, could you help me?

Thanks,

Best regards

If the percentage is not the default 100%, was your configuration only eliminated 93% percentage? It is very important to narrow down whether your configuration regarding shares is correct. Of course, this could also be verified via the share calculation task. If it works, the percentage complementary in the rule should help you with the NCI calculation and posting. It is recommended to check the unit 5 and 6 of S4F96 standard course, though I am not sure whether the course is still available.
