Hello, does anyone have information on how to make the group chart of accounts (for consolidation purposes) available in the public cloud and whether it is directly assigned to the YCOA?
An SAP blog provides information about a group chart of accounts Y1, but no further details on whether it can be set up via a scope element or in some other way.
Can somebody please share the general set up activities?
Thank you

You could only use the pre-delivered Y1 as Group Chart of Account, but could take the workaround mentioned in link https://help.sap.com/docs/SAP_S4HANA_CLOUD/90c07e91c7a64f328be3fd6b48955b13/1b1d2ae273de4b6f9b2041d6...

Hi Michael,
I had the same question and stumbled on this note: https://me.sap.com/notes/3515248.
Scope item 3AF is deprecated since 2408. However, the functionality should still exist using the SSCUI Edit Chart of Accounts List (102422).
Hope this helps!

Hi,
Group chart of account YGR1 is delivered by scope item 3AF and can be used for consolidation in external system. Check out 2944535 - Field "Group chart of account" is not available for more information.
Group chart of accounts Y1 is the consolidation chart of Accounts which is used in S/4HANA Group Reporting which comes with scope item 1SG.
Best regards,
Jonathan
