Hi,
As per SP upgrade to GRC AC 12 SP10, new configuration parameter 6002 has been introduced. To improve the performance, the UAR request generation job uses the CDS Approach to generate requests.
Please help me to know what is CDS Approach here. If possible provide how this CDS Approach works exactly.
Thank You.
Regards...
Kumar

Hi Kumar,
GRC system can be integrated with HANA DB for provisioning related activities. In User Access Review process, the HANA DB roles also can be pulled and shown in UAR requests.
However, when HANA DB roles are involved, the UAR jobs were taking long time to complete and hit with performance issues. To address this issue, SAP has introduced a new parameter 6002 so that UAR functionality will utilize SAP HANA CDS (Core Data Services) which improves the performance of UAR jobs. Configuration parameter 6002 gives the flexibility to select or de-select CDS approach when scheduling UAR jobs.
This CDS approach is not a GRC functionality and if you would like to understand it better, I would recommend to go through the following link for details.
