GRC PC with Master Data Management

Hi, We are implementing a Master Data solution part of which we are wanting to Use GRC Process controls to enable a workflow for changes to Master Data sensitive fields. Within the GRC Practice do we have any whitepapers or config recommendation on how this can be achieved. Also can most of the fields in Customer and Material master be controlled via GRC PC workflows? Any advise on this would be appreciated.

Hi Yogesh,

For master data governance (e.g. Customer Master Data), you might need to do an enhancement where you set a block when a customer is created or modified and then have authorized users with transaction XD05 to unblock. This becomes the governance process.

PC will not stop master data changes and it will be more ideal to do enhancement in your transactional system. Use PC more to monitor your system and not for blocking or unblocking transactions.
