Hello,
I am currently involved with a GRC implementation project and the landscape team are insisting on installing GRC on an existing Solman system due to some cost constraints and would like to use this as a pilot project before they can decide if they want to extend it to rest of the applications.
I tried searching scn and even google but unable to find anything substantial. So all I am after are some pros and cons in regards to this keeping the following in mind:
1. How feasible and practical is it to install it on a solman system (it is already connected to 30+ applications and is just a 2 system landscape) as opposed to a stand alone. If it is then what is the best approach (New app server/instance etc)
2. If the team is happy and decide to go ahead with extending it to other applications (20+ and counting), what are the potential consequences in regards to isolating GRC and moving (in a year's time or so) it to a dedicated stand alone system.
Any help on this would be very much appreciated.
Regards,
Roy
