GRC: Change User action: User already exists in the system

Hi All

GRC 12 SP11

In my set up, for Change User request types the only action available is Change User. Audit logs show the request is trying to create the user, although the user exists.

Could you please suggest, why this is occurring.

FYI, In Global provisioning settings, Create User for Change User and Assign Role is enabled, if User does not exist.

Regards

Plaban

Plaban,

Remove the check box of "For Change User Action", it will not try to create it. if not, Maybe you want to restrict it with "System Provisioning configuration" to avoid this?

Hi Mahendran,

In my set up, it is needed that for any user not available, Change User action creates the id. So it cannot be removed.

Plaban,

Just curious why you are not using the Assign Object-006 for Change Req type : 002,are you not assigning any role?

Thanks

Ramesh

Hi Ramesh,

Assign Object 006 is already assigned to Change Req. type. The problem lies in Change request type trying to create user, although User exists

Plaban,

Not sure why audit logs shows as "Trying to create user if already exists". Either we can remove the check box or customized provision with each system level and apart from these, we have nothing to do with configuration and it might be a bug from SAP, so please reach out with an incident to SAP.
