GRC Access Control 12 - Dashboard reports Flash Player Alternative?

Hello,

We use the main reports in GRC AC 12. As we know, the flash player will be ended in Dicember 2020. Is there any alternative to use them?

I find some notes but not for GRC AC. Anyone knows how address it?

Hello Claudio,

There is this new note https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2947941 which addresses the solution for all recent versions and modules of GRC regarding the end of Flash support including IGS and Fiori.

We update the components (sp11) but some new reports comes with SP12 (and we can not apply the notes mentioned in 300764 due missing objects). We will waiting for SP12, Do you now the release date for it (grc12)?

SP12 of GRC 12.0 is expected in Mar end is what I heard in the recently concluded GRC 2021 event held by SAPInsider community. So let's hope this is released in time and SAP stick to its delivery promise. Thanks.

I was wondering about this too. Found some notes. Mainly: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2937640:

"Reason and Prerequisites

Adobe Flash is not supported any more.

Solution

To fix the issue, apply the note. The prerequisite for correction function is the Internet Graphics Server (IGS) is up and running."

Need to pick up these changes on mid-term. Would be great if you also share your experience.

This note is for RM. I applied the note and the Access Control reports still comes with flash
