GRC 12.0 Implementation

I would like to get some information on the GRC 12.0 upgrade. I have downloaded the upgrade guides and received information directly from SAP but have more questions out there for those who have gone through the upgrade already.

1. What companies out there have fully implemented GRC from 10.1 to 12.0? I have read through notes 2648777 and 2654895 but wanted to find out additional feedback on the success of the implementation overall.
2. What are the watch outs/risks/testing issues?
3. Was there any functionality did not work at first because of the change in parameters?
4. Was Success Factors connected at the time of implementation? If not, was it connected after the upgrade?
5. Was Concur connected at the time of implementation? If not, was it connected after the upgrade?

Any help and info with this will be much appreciated as my team begins to start the GRC upgrade journey.

Hi Julie,

I see several organizations moving to GRC 12 much rapidly now than few months back.

Personally I've faced couple of code handling issues as this is the latest version of GRC AC. However, SAP has been quite fast in resolving those till now. Better option would be to upgrade to lower SP at first as newer SP versions will contain such bugs more.

We do not have Success Factors connected with GRC at the moment. Also, GRC does not have the capability to connect to Concur as well till date. Hopefully, they'll add this soon.

Kaushal, Thank you for your feedback. We have it in our plan to upgrade the SP levels plug ins for those that need it. We are not going to upgrade to Fiori at this time so I am also wondering if there are any changes to NWBC look/feel/functions. I can't seem to find much on that topic in my research.
