We have got a requirement where the user is looking for a link in notification, which can directly route to the work item itself for the firefighter log review workflow.

You just need to use notification variable %LINK_WORKITEM% in email notification template and this variable in the email shows the direct url which your controllers can click and use for reviewing EAM log review requests.
