Hello,
in GRAC_EAM t-code FFID101 is showing as red and logon button is greyed out all of sudden.. It was working fine before. For the same system FFID100 is green and working as expected.
FFID101 - no changes in user profile. user type is service, SAP_GRAC_SPM_FFID assigned, user is valid.
Could you help us to solve this issue?
Regards,
Meena

Hi Meena,
did you check the validity dates of the FF role and the assignment of the FF user?
The validity date of the assigned FF user is an area that is often forgotten.
Kind regards,

Hello All,
Thanks a lot for your responses, its really helpful.
Issue has been resolved.
We found that some jobs were scheduled using FFID, these were failing frequently. Whenever job was cancelled FFID session was stuck and it was not getting released.
We fixed job issue and FFID is in green status now.

Meena

Hello,
To avoid this situation with FFID in the future, you may need to apply a new kernel patch in your Plug-in system.
Please have a look at below SAP Note for reference:
2816833-DP:
RFC user sessions hang
2125078
- TH: Users remain logged on after a soft cancel

Hi Meena.
Try running prog GRAC_FFID_LOGIN_STATUS_UPDATE for this FFID.
If there isn't really a session hang for it in P25CLNT100 and there are no communication or auth issues (I suppose that there aren't, as your other ID is working) then your FFID101 will be released.

Hi Meena,
Were you able to resolve this issue, We are also facing same issue with one of the FFID. During root cause analysis we found an old session in SM04/AL08 for the FFID. Users has logged off long before but session is still active there.
Once session is deleted, FF ID was available for login.

Hi Meena,
Try to check if there is any table lock entry in sm12 for the sam FF ID, and if there is none, then maybe you can terminate an active session of that ff user in sm04.

Meena,
Please check if FFID101 is assigned to some one else and being used at same time while another person try to login with FFID101. Only one person would be able to login in one FFID at a time. If you could send error message then we can see further.
