Precondition: Working for the project of rolling out S/4HANA on premise 2021.
Target countries are more than 100 (including China, US, EU and India)
Goal: Finding some legal regulation against our global single instance policy.
In my project, I will take into account how many instances do we need for rolling out S/4HANA globally.
However, I heard there're some legal requirements that will be obstacles on single instance strategy.
Therefore, I would like have as many cases and legal requirements by country as possible.
I've already read this blog(Challenges in Cross Border Data Flows and Data Localization amidst new Regulations | SAP Blogs) and need more information of some other countries.
As employee and business partner data are in S4hana, regulations like GDPR will affect and need additional instance for EU bases or not.
Request clarification before answering.
