I have looked in the folder where IIS is expecting to find these fies but they are not there, but I can find them in other folders.

anyone who might know how to solve this or what might cause this error?

Hi Patrick,

please verify that .NET 3.5 and .NET 4.5 are installed.

As Maher wrote the address to use for web access is http://servername:portnumber/sap/bpc/web, are you sure that BASIS has configured the access port for bpc server as 80?

Have you try searching in the logs for other messages?

Pinging the server address it's working?

Can you please share the error page?

Hi Patrik,

\PC_MS\Websrvr\web\BPC\Web\

Hi Roberto,
Thanks  for your reply!
I have installed the 10.1.5.1 patch  but I noticed that there´s  more recent patch. I´ll try to install that.

Hi Maher,
Thanks for your reply.
The url that I have used is both http://localhost/sap/bpc/web and http://localhost:80/sap/bpc/web, I have even tried http://servername:80/sap/bpc/web

But none of these urls is getting the desired result. I still get an 404 error.

Unfortunaly I cant install excel on server for testing purpose beacuse it cost to much in license.

I have tried to browse the web page from directly from IIS but getting the same error.

Any other ideas how I get this issue solved ?

I really appreciate your help!

Hello Patrick,

What was the URL used in order to open the Web Admin Client ?

To open BPC Web Client, you should use the URL below:

http://servername:portnumber/sap/bpc/web

In order to fix this issue, I suggest the following actions:

* Install BPC Admin Consol then try to Open the webclient using the link in the Launch section.

* Go to Inetmgr, then under Sites\Default web Site\SAP\BPC ; select Web then click on Browse*:80http in the rigth Pane.

If using both method gives you same problem, please don't hesitate to put a screen shot of the error message.
