Get attributes from a Characteristic as a Key Figure - BPC Embedded Planning in AO.

Hey there,

I'm creating an input-enabled bex query on top of a DSO, where i plan the quantity of materials by periodicity, like monthly, yearly, etc.

Each periodicity has its own max quantity as attribute, that will be used to determine the limit of planned quantity.

For example:

Periodicity - Yearly

Max Quantity - 500

How could i get this attribute if im using the Characteristic Periodicity as KF?

Hi joao.dias1175_5,

the use case is not yet clear to me. You say you want to plan 'quatity of materials by periodicity' and for me this means characteristics materials, periodicity, ... are in the key of the (a)DSO and this is by definition not a use case for characteristics as key figures; if periodicity is in the key you can just use display attributes to display 'max quantity'.

To display the attributes of a characteristic used as key figure is not supported.

Gregor

Hello Gregor,

Sorry for not being clear. No, Periodicity is not in key fields, it is used as a KF, because the materials are going to be static in my workbook and im going to input the periodicity value.

Is there another way to do this? Or it's the only way to input the periodicity with materials in static display?

If this way im doing is correct, would i need any ABAP programming?

Thanks in advance,

João Vitor
