Dear all,
A WBS master with linked Network activity has been set up and saved. Afterwards the WBS is maintained in FMDERIVER. How can this assignment be updated automatically in Network header for the corresponding network activity?
Best Regards

Hi Claudio,
Ok, I see... I didn't get the problem at first. I thought you have issues with FM assignment derivation in general.
Frankly, I'm not aware of such an automatic update. This button was introduced to provide semi-automatic solution, but I didn't hear that the approach for update of FM assignment on Network header was ever changed.

Eli

Hi Eli,
many thanks for your reply. I agree, WBS and FMDERIVER works well.
My issue is a Network, which is linked to WBS. After master data creation in PS, we do the step in FMDERIVER. When then returning to Network in Change mode I can see the right FM link. If I return to Network in Display mode the link is not updated. In Network Header there is a button to update the link to FM. Only if this button is pressed then update in Display mode is done, and fm account assignment and follow up postings works fine.
The Question is: How to get the link Network to FM updated (in display mode) without having to request each time the owner of the Network to update it manually by entering in the Network master and click on that button.
Beste regards
Claudio

Hi,
WBS is very well integrated with 'Funded Program' as FM object. You wouldn't have to maintain the values manually in FMDERIVE for this.
