Frequent Login Prompt for DM Refresh

Hi All,

The DM users are constantly prompted to enter the user ID and password for the DM Datalink related chapters.  We extended the timeout with instructions in note 2186797_How To Configure Timeout, but that did not change the frequency of the prompt.

What can be done to avoid this prompt? 

Is SSO the only option?

Hi @Eyal_Feiler , I can suggest to take a look at these timeout configuration options as well:

2953654 - DM - Users logged off after 4 hours of activity
2934017 - DM - Disconnect of client session
2996156 - DM - Idle timeout (IIS)

These timeouts are not related to the login prompt in a DM client. If your data-source is not SSO, it will ask for a user/pwd

Hi Eyal, Marc is right, if your question is specifically about DM Office client prompts - SSO is the only option to avoid user-password re-entry.
