Freight cost estimate for planning BPC

Hello everyone,

I have an issue for an input form in BPC. We have expenditure hierarchy, with the base member being expenditure item and subsequent hierarchies being expenditure group and expenditure class. For planning purposes, all acquisitions must make an estimate for freight, which is also an expenditure item (base member) and it is the only one that captures all freight estimates. The freight cost is estimated per item of expenditure planned.

I would like to capture the freight estimate for each expenditure item per coding block or office, but I am struggling to create it.

Thank you for your assistance.

Regards,

Abu

Hello Vadim,

This is a screen shot. Different coding blocks represent different offices. Since the expenditure items are numerous, to make it manageable for users, there is a hierarchy. The EPMSelectMember function helps with selecting the Expenditure Class, which determines the expenditure groups within that class. The EPMContextMember then determines which expenditure items to display for planning purposes. Freight charge is also an expenditure item but is not a context member. It is possible that different offices can select the same mix of expenditure items but with varying freight rates, and we should be able to evaluate freight charges across offices based on the coding block. I hope this offers better clarity.

Thank you and best regards,

Sorry, but it's not a real report with real formulas explanation. Please spend some time to prepare a useful screenshot and insert it as a picture, not as a link!

Sorry, but absolutely not clear what do you want to achieve. Please provide the screenshot of the Excel file to illustrate with some sample.
