Fixed assets planning in bpc 10

Hi Friends,

I have one requirement from client on Fixed assets planning, I need to calculate depreciation on asset class level, So can any one help me giving some idea on Fixed assets depreciation calculation , like how to do it. what accounts we need to create and any flows we need to use.

Ex:In Building we have 10 assets , asset class building we need to calculate depreciation. on SLM. Pls explain me what will be the best solution and how to calculate deprecation and post to BS.

Hi Ravi,

BPC dimensions are highly flexible and there is no universal configuration for your business purpose.

You can either put your "10 assets" as 10 members in Account, or as 10 members in Flow. For the calculation of depreciation, you set put the calculation coding in script logic.
