Firefighter IDs restricted login through SAP GUI

I read some papers about Note 1545511, but Why the Firefighter IDs should be restricted login through SAP GUI? Is it related to logging or authorization or any other matter?

Dear Guadalupe,

The Firefighter User exit has two purpose depends on what type of Firefighting you are using.

If you have Role based Firefighter, then the User Exit is storing the actual logon time of the Firefighter User and provide the information when the possible Firefighter Session started. Without the configuration Role Based Firefighter can not determine the Session start time, and will not collect any logs.

For ID based Firefighters, it is not allowed to ABAP based Firefighters to be able to directly Logon, as the Session need to be initialized from the Firefighter Logon Pad. Configuring the User Exit will provide the layer which not allow the Firefighter ID to log on directly. This is a design requirement against the ID based ABAP Firefighters.
