The password of the Firefighter ID (FFID) is always changed in every logon (if the connector has no trusted connection), hence if the user is not explicitly changed the password if the FFID he/she should not know it. Depends on the UI technology even if the password is known the user can not logon, as if User Exit is properly implemented it will automatically log out the user if it is a FFID.

Hi Sai.

There is an Exit that can be implemented to avoid logging in with the FF ID.

Please check the following notes:

1545511 - Firefighter User Exit

2014742 - Firefighter Direct Logon exit doesn't work, the firefighter can login directly.

Yes. Any user who knows the userID of a dialog user (which includes UserType "Service") will be able to login as that user as long as the FFID:

  • is not locked
  • has a validity period does covers today (Valid from <= today <= Valid to)
