Financial Consolidation 10.1 Cube Designer

Hello, is it absolutely necessary to install IIS on databaseserver (databaseserver and applicationserver are on two different server installed), when i want to install Cube Designer. Thank you in advance. best regards Önder

Please if anyone can help me...

I have a real problem with the FC CD UDF for security 10.1

To be very Clair, I wanted to install it on a SSAS server as normal,while installing i got a message that the : AMO (Microsoft SQL server 2014 Analysis Management Object) are required.

However I have made a double check, in the Programs&Features i found the AMO, and also the Global Assembly Cache where i found the key: Microsoft.AnalysisServices.

Now my question, why the CD UDF is unenble to find the AMO? have u got that problem before ? do you any idea please?

I am very concerning about that probleme and my client don't wanna wait.

1. For FC Deployer, there are mandatory components that should be installed on the server that you will use as a Deployer server.

   The list of these components are :

• Microsoft SQL Server 2012 component
• Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Native Client (x64)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2014 components
• Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Analysis Services OLE DB provider (x64)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2014 CLR Types (x64)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Shared Management Objects (x64
• Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Analysis Services ADOMD.NET (x64)
• Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Analysis Management Objects (x64)
• Oracle client with the Oracle OLEDB Provider
• Microsoft .Net Framework 4.5.1
• Microsoft IIS with ASP.Net 4.0
• Runtime Microsoft Visual C++ 10.0 CRT (x64)
• Runtime Microsoft Visual C++ 12.0 CRT (x64)

1. 2. For your third question, the Cube Designer is a client tool.

Hello Marc, thank you. I have the following system landscape. One Windows 2012 Server for FC Application Server & Web Server - One different Database Server MSSQL 2012 on Windows Server 2012. FC and FC WEB is installed and working. Now i want to install the Cube Desiger with its components. This are my informations for this task. Can you please give me the information on which of this two servers in my landscape (BOFC APP&WEB Server / Database Server) i have to install which component ? 1. Install the Financial Consolidation Cube Deployer component on the Deployer server (FC APP&Web Server or DB Server ? ) 2. Install the SAP Financial Consolidation Cube Designer UDF for Security component on the SSAS server (FC APP&Web Server or DB Server ? ) 3. Install and configure the datapump if you have a new SSAS server or if you migrated the existing SSAS server (FC APP&Web Server or DB Server ? ) 4. Cube Designer is a client tool, that does not require IIS at all

I assume you are referring to Deployer? This can be on a separate server.

Even the datapump can be installed separately from the SSAS server

Perhaps you can clarify your question with an overview of the environment (servers / components etc.)
