FICA Archiving

Hello, I am trying to archive FICA doc using FI_MKKDOC. For some invoice (document type FA), it is not allowing saying "DFKKKO-X3:IS-U print document not archived". My understanding was I need to archive the FICA doc first and then the print doc. Can anyone throw some light on this?

This check can be found in module ISU_CHECK_FICA_HEADER_0500 (FI-CA event 0500):

A check is added to event 0500. This check states whether the corresponding print document has already been archived during the archiving of the accounts receivable document of an IS-U invoicing. Then, if this is not the case, then the accounts receivable document cannot be archived either.

Thanks Christina, it is indeed the flow. But I am wondering what could be the rational behind this. Why SAP has kept this dependency on print document before archiving FICA doc.
